2. What can I expect during my first visit?
During the first counselling session, I will meet with you one-on-one in a cozy office space to discuss the process of therapy. This conversation will include client confidentiality and the limits of confidentiality, and will help begin the therapeutic relationship.
3. How often do I need to attend, and for how long?
Therapy is very individualized, and each person comes with their own expectations and needs. I prefer to start with appointments once per week in order to create trust and rapport between us. After that, sessions may become less frequent. Some clients only attend 3-6 sessions, and others, many more. It all depends on your needs and progress.
4. What is confidentiality?
